We strive to provide excellent service and meet your eye care needs. We are located at 120 West Springs St. in St. Marys, Ohio and we are accepting new patients. Our optometrists can help you improve the way you see by providing comprehensive eye exams, glaucoma screenings and care, treatment for eye injuries and pediatric vision care.

Crystal LDO

Optician

Crystal has been working in the optical field since 1985. She received her Optician's License in 1998. She assists in pretesting, supplementary testing, and contact lens education. She handles lab orders, accounts payable, patient scheduling and insurance questions. Crystal also helps with frame selections, dispensing, adjustments and repairs.

Kelly BS

Paraoptometric

Kelly received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Bowling Green University in 1983. She has been in the optical field since 1998. She assists in pretesting and supplementary testing. She handles lab orders, accounts receivable and insurance questions. Kelly is available for frame selections, dispensing, adjustments and repairs.

Jackie BA

Paraoptometric

Jackie received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 1984. she joined our staff in 2017 and handles diagnostic pretesting, patient scheduling and communication. In addition, Jackie helps with everything!

Ryan BA

Paraoptometric

Ryan received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Intercultural Studies from Mt. Vernon Nazerene University in 2017. He is currently working on a Masters degree from Gonzaga University. Ryan is a people person. He helps with pretesting and is our technology wizard. Ryan can also speak Spanish.

Ali, BS

Paraoptometric

Ali received her Associate of Applied Business in 2017 and Bachelor of Science in 2019, both from The University of Northwestern Ohio. She joined our team in 2019. She manages the contact lens dispensary, orders contact lenses, teaches contact lens care, assists in supplementary testing and patient scheduling. She manages the optical boutique, purchases frames, assists with frame selections and is available for dispensing, adjustments and repairs.

Meet Our Eye Doctors

Matt Dixon, O.D.

Dr. Dixon is a graduate of Asbury College and the University of Alabama School of Optometry. He has been an eye doctor for 20 years and specializes in contact lenses of all types. He uses state-of-the-art technology to offer the latest in contact lens design. Dr. Dixon prescribes bifocals, torics (for astigmatism), and offers Ortho-K, which reduces nearsightedness while you sleep. He has written for various optometric publications and has been a guest blogger for Stop the Thyroid Madness. He is married to Jenna (Pope) Dixon. He is a songwriter and musician and the father of three children.

Brittany Wright, O.D.

Dr. Wright received her B.S. in Biology from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She attended Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, FL, where she graduated with honors. She is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society.

Dr. Wright’s professional interests include the management and treatment of ocular disease, pediatric eye examinations, and sports/vision therapy.

During her free time, she also enjoys day hiking, reading, yoga, and spending time with her puppy, Oliver. We are so glad that Dr. Wright has joined our team.

Kinsey Watkins, O.D.

Dr. Watkins is originally from Buena Vista, Georgia and graduated in 2014 from Georgia SouthwesternState University in Americus, GA with a B.S. in Chemistry and a Rosalyn Carter Caregiving Certificate. She then went on to attend Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where she graduated with honors.

Dr. Watkins is here part time with us at AEC, and part time in Macon at Eye Physicians Professional Association with Dr. Hinson. Her professional interests include the treatment and management of ocular disease, pre- and post-op management of cataract surgery, vision therapy, and pediatrics.

Outside of work, Dr. Watkins likes to spend her free time traveling, running and spending time with friends, family, and her husband, Brandon.
